General purpose electrochemical workstation. Electrochemical Techniques: Cyclic Voltammetry / Linear Sweep Voltammetry (measurement of peak potential, current, and area, semi-differentiation and semi-integration - convolution and deconvolution); Normal Pulse Voltammetry; Differential Pulse Voltammetry; Osteryoung Square Wave Voltammetry.
Ultrasonic processor Labsonic P
Nominal power = 400 watts, 24kHz . Probe Ø 7 mm, approx. 100 mm long. The sonication amplitude can be set between 20% and 100% of the nominal power. The period within one second can be set between 0,2 sec and 1,0 sec (= continuous action).
Subjecting liquid or solid media to ultrasonic waves for the purpose of homogenization specifically the disaggregation and solubilisation of single wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNT).
Themogravimetric Analysis (TGA) TA Q500
ultra-sensitive thermobalance. Horizontal purge gas system (with mass flow control). High-temperature furnace (20-1500°C). Heating rates:1...40°C/min. Platinum crucibles.
Characterization of materials or chemical compounds as a function of temperature under an inert or oxidizing gas. Its principal uses include measurement of a material's thermal stability and composition.
VP-ITC microcalorimeter
Noise 0.5 nanocal/sec (2 nanowatts) Base line repeatibility 10 nanocal/sec (40 nanowatts) Temperature range 2°C to 80°C Minimum response time 20 secs Cell design fixed Cell's material hastelloy Cell's volume 1.4 mL Electrical requirements 15 amps, 110/240 VAC, 50-60Hz Weight 11,5kg Size 43x20x38 cm
The VP-ITC system is an ultrasensitive isothermal titration calorimeter. Its main application is the characterization of molecular interactions of small molecules, proteins, antibodies, nucleic acids, lipids and other biomolecules. As opposed to other titration methods, the VP-ITC allows the simultaneous determination of all binding parameters (Ka, DH, DS) in a single automated experiment.
Anton Paar Microwave reactor Monowave 300
Installed microwave power: 850W. Microwave frequency 2455MHz. Microwave power control: Unpulsed mode over whole power range. IR Temperature sensor: 30 to 310ºC. Compressed air cooling: 50L/min. Stirrer speed: 600 rpm. Volume of sample: 10 or 30 ml. Ruby Thermometer: 30-310ºC. Pressure: 0 to 54 bar.
The microwave reactor offer the possibility of performing organic reactions heated by microwave irradiation. The reaction can proceed under high pressure, in solution or in solid state. The system allows control of temperature and pressure inside the reaction in real time.
Shimadzu UV-VIS-NIR Spectrophotometer UV-3600
Wavelength range: 185 to 3.300nm Resolution: 0.1 nm. Wavelength accuracy: UV and VIS 0.2 nm NIR 0.8 nm. Detectors: R-928, InGaAs, PbS Constant temperature cell holder: 5 to 80 ºC. Light sources: Halogen lamp, deuterium lamp,
High sensitivity study of UV-Vis-NIR (185 to 3.000 nm) properties of compounds in solution. Experiments at different temperature.
Hplc Agilent 1100
Degasser, autosampler, quaternary pump, diode array detector, fraction collector.
A high performance preparative liquid chromatograph system for mixture analysis, nd separation of organic compounds.
